| Each state sets its own laws governing learning at home. Learning at home is legal in every state but the requirements may be totally different. Legal requirements may be to inform the school district of your intent to teach your children at home or the law may require further government control. Legislation is continually being proposed/considered and changed. Since every group or organization wants you to join their group they may not always tell the truth with regards to other options. Check with others that teach their children at home and check with an attorney who may know the law. |
